![]() I have two different versions of Qbittorrent installed. It only overwrote the the Startup shortcuts. After investigating your hunch, I just realized that the new version didn't overwrite the old version. Hahaha I think you are correct and I feel really dumb now. ![]() (EDIT: After restarting QBittorrent, I now see a qbittorrent.log file.Īre you sure you got the official 4.4.2 and not some "PortableApps"? Wait.Do I post the text here? watched_folders.json is empty except for parenthesis. I also used the torrent list as a library directory. But maybe a hundred different completed torrents that would regularly seed. PS: I only had like five active downloads. There were absolutely no backup files hidden or otherwise in the following directory:Ĭ:\Users\AppData\Local\qBittorrent\BT_backup I found this post for an older version from years ago: I Googled the problem and also used the GitHub issues search bar. After updating, the network interface option was also reset. I thought that the upload and download issue could have been caused by my VPN: VPNSecure, because most of the nodes stopped working, some months ago and QBittorrent was set to stop IP leaks through the network interface option by being bound to the network adapter which is Ethernet 2. The old version of QBitTorrent was working fine up until maybe two weeks ago when it stopped downloading and seeding so I finally updated. ( I understand it's been a while since I updated but I had bad experiences in the past from updating Bit Torrent Clients such uTorrent which bundled bloatware and changed my preferred app and search engine settings without asking permission during updates. My previous version was Qbittorrent 4.4.2 圆4. I updated QBittorrent and every torrent in the list disappeared. I updated to the latest version and the torrent library is gone. ![]() Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Home Version 1 Build 22621 ![]()
